Make an AND gate from NAND gates
NAND means “not AND”: it is an AND gate with its output inverted. So to get a real AND gate, you need to undo that inversion.

The idea
You already know how to make an inverter from one NAND (see NOT from NAND). Inverting twice gives back the original value. So: one NAND does the “not AND”, and a second NAND, used as a NOT, turns it back into AND. Two gates in total.
